Although William Blake, the founder of British romantic poetry depended upon the Bible for his primary inspiration and resources, it seems to have been virtually ignored by most of the religious community. This post will endeavour to arouse the interest of Christian people of whatever denomination and to sensitize Blake lovers to the great use he made of the Bible.
